Where Did My Panel Go in Ecamm?

If a panel like Scenes, Overlays, or Sound Levels suddenly disappears in Ecamm, it can feel like something has gone wrong.

In most cases, nothing has been deleted. The panel is usually just hidden or turned off in the interface.

Ecamm allows you to show and hide panels, so if something disappears, it is almost always still there — just not currently visible.

How to bring a missing panel back in Ecamm

  1. Go to the Window menu at the top of Ecamm
  2. Look through the list of available panels
  3. Click the panel you are missing (for example, Scenes or Overlays)
  4. Check your screen to confirm the panel has reappeared
  5. If needed, drag or resize the panel so it is clearly visible

If the panel still doesn’t appear where you expect it, check around the edges of the window — it may be collapsed or off-screen.
